PROVIMATM uses the most current technology to ensure the security and privacy of all information. Typically, we use a multi-level security system that consists of:
Server-side secure socket layers (SSL)
Internal software/hardware firewalls
Permission-based access levels on the client side
Server-side Security
This level requires a 128-bit SSL browser and 1024 bit server-side encryption for all secured areas of a site.
Client-side Security
Users are required to login to access designated restricted areas. Upon successful login, users are automatically re-directed to the area(s) for which they have permission to access. Unsuccessful attempts to login re-direct users back to a login screen. Valid user names are authenticated from a database that holds all of the user permissions and user id's. At login, a session object variable is assigned and a 10 or 20 minute timeout is applied if the system does not detect any user activity. Once a user logs out or the session times out, the session object is deleted.
128 bit Encryption
User access is restricted to Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or above with 128-bit encryption.
